Until recently, Siteservants handled purchase and yearly renewals of our customers domains, partly because we had no interface to allow our customers to do it for themselves and partly because we've always done it that way. But that has all changed now! Effective immediately, Siteservants will no longer manage domain renewals or order domains for our customers. We now have an interface which you can use to purchase new domains (including the hot new .tel domains) and to renew your existing domain. It's easy and it relieves us of having to purchase them and turn around and get you to reimburse us for those purchases.

How Will It Work?

You will receive an email notification about one month prior to your domain expiratrion date instructing you to renew your domain. At the bottom of that email will be a link to the interface which you should click to renew your domain. This site is external to Siteservants but is a safe place from which to renew your domain confidently.  If you don't want to use the link, you can also purchase additional domains or renew your exisiting one by visiting our website here and clicking on the "Manage Your Domain" link in the left-hand navigation menu. Once you've successfully renewed your domain, the system will automatically email you a receipt and inform you of the renewal period which you just purchased.

How Do I Purchase a New Domain and What Would I do wiith It?

You can purchase new domains by clicking on the "Purchase A Domain" tab at the top of each page on the siteservants website at http://www.siteservants.com. You will be taken to a Search page where you simply enter the domain name that you are interested in buying in the Search field and click the "Submit" button.  The application will go out and see if that particular domain is available.  It will return a page stating whether or not the domain is available and if it isn't it will recommed similar domains that are available for purchase including Custom Domain names which you can purchase.  Just put a check mark next to the domain name that you wish to purchase and click the "Done" buton which will redirect you to the "Your Cart" page. Here, click the radio button next to the period of time that you wish to purchase your domain for and then click the "Done" button once more.  The application will now redirect you to a page where you can either sign in if you are already a Siteservants customer or register if you are not. Once you've entered all pertinent information, click either the "Register and Continue" button if you are new to Siteservants or the "Log in and Continue" button if you are an existing customer and you've entered your Username and Password. You will then be directed to the Customer Check out page where you will fill in your credit card information.  That's really all there is to it!  Fill in the credit card information and click the "Buy Now" button and the domain will be yours.  The system will email a receipt and instructions on how to proceed with getting your new website created.

If you already have someone who is creating your website for you, all you need to do is request from them what their primary and secondary nameservers are and go back into the Siteservants Domain interface/Manage Domain and click on the "Name Servers" link. That will take you to a page where you can enter the information above (Primary and secondary Name Servers).  That's it. Let your website provider know that you did it and they will do the rest.  If you don't have a website provider, Siteservants can do it for you!  Just click on the "Contact Us" tab at top of the page and in the ensuing page, explain that you have purchased a domain and would like to talk with us about creating your website for you. We will return your email inquiry with a series of phone calls to you (be sure to leave your phone number on the "Contact Us" page!).

If you purchased a .tel domain, it's totally different. You will receive a Username and Password via email and a link to go to to begin putting the information that you wish to display online! It's really easy and you don't need a website provider or progarmmer.
