Why You Need a Drupal Website

Things Drupal Can Do - A Job Posting Application

Let's say you have a small business that you started and it has grown to the point that you need to advertise for "Help Wanted".  With Drupal, we can put together a Job Posting Application integrated in with your other business items on your website which would allow anyone visiting your website to view and apply for any current openings that you might have by providing those visitors a way to post both a cover sheet and an uploaded resume for any positions you advertise. When they log back into your site, visitors can view all jobs that they have posted for.  Additionally, visitors would be able to view a list of all available openings as well as a list of all openings in a particular department.

Blogs Away

The integration of both individual and group blogs is a cinch using Drupal.  You can configure different groups of users who can view only that group's blog entries.  You can configure blog posts to include author's thumbnail pic at end of each entry.

Polls

Need to spice your site up with a few cool polls?  That's really easy too in Drupal. Once the Poll module has been turned on, you can set up as many polls as you like and you can have them expire after certain periods of time and just leave them alone!  When the expiration date arrives, the poll is automatically marked as "closed" and disabled. Pretty cool heh?

Discussions Using Comments

Your Drupal website can be configured to allow comments on one or more content types e.g., allowing visitors to only comment on blogs or Story pages, etc. Comments can be configured to be automatically viewable or only viewed after someone in your company whom you specify and grant appropriate priviledges, reviews them first.

Forums

Wouldn't it be cool if you could provide a place where your site visitors or even your customers could discuss problems they encounter relevant to your core business?  Enter Drupal to the rescue! You can have as many forums as you like and each one can be configured as either moderated or unmoderated.

Photo Galleries

Here's where Drupal really shines!  Using an add-on module called Photo Gallery2, we can set your site up so that you can easily create multiple photo albums wich can be viewed throughout your site using configurable blocks of thumbnail photos across the header, body, fotter, and left and right hand navigation columns of your website.  You can set up where certain albums are displayed in random sequence on specified pages of your website  and you can show blocks of thumbnails oon specified pages using a particular album!  It really is cool to be able to integrate photo albums using blocks on the various pages of your website!  What better way to advertise your products. One last thing - we can configure a specific office computer to perform batch resizing of digital photos and then upload them directly to your site!  And space is not a problem...

Ok - that's it for now but we encourage you to visit our site often  for more cool stuff that Drupal can do for your business or personal website.
